Is Megyn Price‘s diet perfect? Can Megyn Price’s diet help you lose weight in 3 days? Can Megyn Price’s make you lose weight in one month? Megyn Price’s diet is not a weight loss diet, but if the composition of your diet is similar to Megyn Price’s diet – and your daily calorie intake is below the number your body needs to maintain your current weight – I do not see why her diet would not help you lose weight.

I like Megyn Price’s diet. The best thing about her eating habits is that she does not eat anything processed, which is not easy to accomplish given the amount of junk food sold today. Her daily calorie intake is healthy, but she is not one of those people who is afraid to eat rice, pasta or anything with even a moderate amount of carbohydrates. And because her diet is pretty balanced, she does not need sugar detox to maintain her weight.

Price does not need to lose weight. However, if your goal is to lose weight, and you decide to use her diet as a model for your own weight-loss plan, you need to pay a close attention to your overall carbohydrate intake. In addition, make sure that your eating plan is based on how many daily calories you need to lose weight.

Let’s take a close look at Megyn Price’s diet:

Breakfast (about 435 calories) Irish oatmeal with apple pieces, black seeds and some walnuts? I have never heard of this combination before, but I like it. According to some studies, black seeds (also known as black cumin seeds) have numerous health benefits. She also drinks an espresso in the morning.

Lunch (about 550 calories) It is a combination of fiber-rich veggies and brown rice or pasta, which is a good vegetarian or vegan lunch option, but it is short on protein.

Snacks (about 300 calories) Did you know that Price competes in triathlons? She does! And because of that, she exercises very early in the morning before breakfast. To give her body some energy before her workouts, she eats half a banana and some peanut butter. Her snack during the day, is the rest of the banana and one more serving of peanut better.

Dinner (about 530 calories) I love her dinner: A big salad with lots of greens and white balsamic vinegar dressing and a piece of fish. What can be better than that? Steamed vegetables with a grass-fed steak, I guess.

Total daily calories: About 1,815 calories. [source: Life and Style]
