Bethenny Frankel‘s weight loss is unremarkable. But just because Bethenny Frankel’s weight loss is hardly exciting, do not think that she does not know how to lose weight in 1 month. Sure, Bethenny Frankel’s weight loss took longer than just one month (she was recently pregnant, so it is probably still in progress), the point is, however, you can totally lose 20 pounds in 1 month if you follow her overall approach to dieting.

Do I think Bethenny Frankel’s weight loss is a good example for women who are struggling to lose the baby weight? I think so. Her message is very simple: Do not deprive yourself. You can eat pretty much anything you want as long as you keep an eye on the amount of food you eat. “Everyone wants to find out why I’m thin. “How did you lose the baby weight? How do you eat what you want and stay thin?” I’ll tell you how: freedom! My first book, Naturally Thin, was based on the concept of freeing yourself from a lifetime of dieting. This was a lesson I had to learn the hard way. Up until my 30s, I was always on a diet. I believed I was good when I starved and bad when I ate. I always restrained myself and worked out like crazy, yet I was 15 to 20 pounds heavier. But a trip to Italy taught me how to have it all – just not all at once – and I began to allow myself to eat.

My food philosophy is: “Taste everything, eat nothing.” What I mean is that you should try everything but not binge. After all, isn’t it more fun to sample a little of this and that rather than dive into just one dish? Or better yet, make some healthy recipe renovations and you can indulge without the guilt.
