To put it simply, the best way – and probably the easiest way to lose weight – is to make sure that you follow a healthy diet. Some people think they follow a healthy, balanced diet, but in reality they often do not. They consume too much sugar, not enough fiber and protein, and they exercise too much. Yes, I said they exercise too much. Doing too much cardio, for example, is not going to help you lose weight.

And I agree, while it is important to exercise, it is more important to stay away from simple carbohydrates and fast food.

Do not believe the hype; any diet that severely restricts calories is not healthy and not sustainable.
