Continued from QuickTrim and Kim Kardashian.

Kim Kardashian‘s QuickTrim diet is depressing. What is wrong with Kim Kardashian’s QuickTrim diet? Well, where do I begin? First of all, Kim Kardashian’s QuickTrim diet is not a diet at all. What is it? I am not sure. The food combining diet, for example, is a terrible diet that does not work, but at least it can be called a diet.

Kim Kardashian’s QuickTrim diet, on the other hand, sounds almost as good as the Metamucil’s weight loss theory until you realize that taking diet pills and other supplements that have not been approved by the FDA has nothing to do with dieting.

Second, we know that Kim has lost around 10 pounds recently and gone from a size six to a two, which is great, but how much of that lost weight will be regained when she stops taking QuickTrim diet pills? In other words, is Kim Kardashian’s QuickTrim diet sustainable? The answer is no, in my opinion. I mean, what is the difference between the so-called QuickTrim diet and, say, the cactus diet?

I do not see a real difference – both “diets” call for taking diet pills. Even if we assume that diet pills work, I just do not think it is a good idea to use something other than food and exercise to lose weight.

People who have successfully lost weight and know how to maintain weight loss and how to keep weight off are well aware of the fact that their success can only be attributed to two factors: diet and exercise. They have learned how to permanently change their eating habits without depriving themselves. They have also learned how to stay active. The question is: Can Kim Kardashian’s QuickTrim diet help you do that? Yes it can, but you need to replace Kim with a responsible personal trainer, and you also need to replace QuickTrim with food.

In case you want to know what Kim has to say about hear eating habits and how she has lost the weight, here is a recent interview with her:

What made you decide to lose weight and get into better shape? I wanted to be fit and toned. Through more exercise and using QuickTrim, I couldn’t believe how it transformed me.

Describe your eating habits? I love junk food but try to stick with salads and grilled chicken.

What’s your most fattening favorite food? Cupcakes!

Your best body part? Stomach.

Least favorite? Thighs.

Do you feel sexier since you lost weight? I feel good. I am not as insecure as I have been in the past. [via]
