Although she’s kicked butt in several movies, Jessica Biel wants you to know that she’s “really not all that scary.” Good to know.

Jessica, 25, is carving out a nice niche in Hollywood, just under the level set by the likes of Scarlett Johansson and Keira Knightley, who Jessica admits are “doing movies I’d like to be doing. It’s a battle for me because I’m not as well known.”

Her fame took a leap in 2006 when she starred in The Illusionist, but even more so when she was spotted with Justin Timberlake after the Golden Globes and during the Sundance Film Festival.

So what about those rumors? Are they true? And what does Jessica Biel do to keep her arguably perfect body in such a great shape?

There have been a lot of rumors flying around about you recently.

And that’s all they are – rumors. I don’t take any notice, to be honest. You can’t, otherwise you would go crazy.

What do you make of the Hollywood party scene?

I’m not really about that. I’ll sometimes go out for a dance and a drink, but I don’t get mixed up in the feuds and the rivalries you hear about. Anyway, I’m too busy. Most nights people go out, I’m having an early night because I have a 6 a.m. start.

Do you work out a lot to get that figure?

Yeah, I like to work out; being in action movies got me onto that. It changed my workout routine, the way I eat and the way I live my life. I really thought I was a healthy eater before, but working with people who know what they are doing completely changed that perspective.

I learned about nutrition; it motivated me to get into the gym and exercise more than I ever did before. I don’t go as mad as I used to, but I do still work out.

What kind of diet do you follow?

I do a nutritional plan of no salt, no sugar, no bread. Just some fruits, every vegetable you can think of, lean meat and water. But I do slip. I love my food. [source]
