Hi I’m about 300 pounds overweight. I had a baby and I need to lose weight for my wedding in November. I can’t afford a gym pass. What can I do to lose weight around the house? And I don’t want a saggy belly like my friend has after she lost 300 pounds. Now she has to have surgery to take away saggy skin. Can you tell me why or how that happened to her? Mary F. First of all, to help you understand what it takes to lose 300 pounds, read the following posts: Lose 300 pounds and Diet to lose 300 pounds. Second, you do not need to go to the gym to lose 300 pounds. Why not? Because you need to focus on your diet. Do not get me wrong, you have to do something to be physically active, but since you need to lose 300 pounds, most exercises will be too stressful for your body right now, which can lead to injuries.

So in your case, the best exercise is simply walking. Walking is one of the best exercises for weight loss regardless of how much weight one needs to lose, but for someone who needs to lose more than 100 pounds, walking is the only exercise I would recommend. Now, as I have already mentioned, your first priority should be getting your diet under control.

To lose 300 pounds, you need to clean up your diet. What does it mean? It means staying away from fast food and simple carbohydrates. Do not drink soda of any kind or milk. Do not eat pasta, rice, white bread, breakfast cereals (most of them contain a lot of sugar), fries, yogurt with added sugar, sweets, cakes, cookies, ice cream, etc. Do eat vegetables (ideally three times a day), eggs, egg whites, beef (preferably grass fed), chicken, turkey, fish of any kind (preferably wild fish), shrimp, pork, lamb, dairy without added sugar, some fruit, vegetables, vegetables and more vegetables.

As for loose skin, it is impossible to predict whether or not you will have it after you lose weight, but I would not worry about it now. Focus on changing your diet and getting to a healthy weight range. Even if you get some loose skin, it is much better to have loose skin than to be 300 pounds overweight. Why do people get loose skin at all? Because when you gain weight, your skin stretches.

Usually, it takes longer to gain 300 pounds than to lose 300 pounds. So when you lose a lot of weight, your skin needs a lot of time to get back to its previous state. It does not always go all the way back, because when it is stretched for a long time, it loses a certain amount of elasticity. But again, do not worry about this now. Be positive and focus on eating healthy food and getting in shape.
