Hi there. i am 23 years old, and have been in a constant struggle to lose my stomach chub ive had for 10 years. i would just like to flatten it, directly below the belly button and below the breasts are my target areas. ive always been interested in healthy eating, but just have never been much of a fan of eating. i try to eat about 4 small meals a day with more protein, calcium and vegetables then carbs. i have been skipping 20-30 minutes 5 days a week for the last 2 months, and doing ab workouts(lots of bicycles, use of a medicine ball and weights to target the obliques) 3-4 times a week. My goal is to finally flatten my stomach, and give me more of an hourglass figure as i am interested in trying out for a playmate. My measurements are 35-bust, 27-waist, 34-hips, and i weigh approximatly 135 lbs at 5 foot 7 inches. I am happy with my biceps, my bum and thighs and shoulders. I am a highly active girl, and swim weekly as well. Any advice you have to help me would be so appreciated. Thanks. Traci. [via Ask Questions]
So you want to know how to flatten your stomach. Well, the good news is that you seem to be doing everything by the book, you eat healthy, you exercise and you are determined to reach your goal.
How to flatten your stomach: the not so good news Here is the reality. If you are at your desired weight, and you still have some stomach fat that you are not happy with, there is no way to flatten your stomach by focusing on specific exercises or diet tricks.
How to flatten your stomach: what you can do The only way you can lose more belly fat, which may or may not flatten your stomach a little more, is to lose more weight. But if you are satisfied with your weight, losing more weight is not healthy.
How to flatten your stomach with diet tricks I am a bit reluctant to recommend this simply because it has not been designed to spot reduce body fat, but in some cases it may work. Cycle calories.
In addition, you can try cycling your daily carbohydrate intake, which works the same way as cycling calories; you just do the same numbers game with your carbohydrate intake.
What else can you do? I wish there would be more things you can try that would help you flatten your stomach, but assuming plastic surgery is out of the question, I am afraid that is pretty much it.
