Can you use Kate Hudson‘s exercise plan to lose weight in 3 weeks? Do you need Kate Hudson’s exercise plan to lose 20 pounds in 4 weeks? You can lose weight without Kate Hudson’s exercise plan, but it is not a bad workout program. Having said that, the said plan would not be my first choice among celebrity workouts. Personally, I would go with the Mike Sorrentino’s workout, but hey, if the following plan works for you, use it! Do not get me wrong, I actually like Kate Hudson’s exercise plan, I just prefer a different kind of workout.

Drink, drink, drink It is important to be properly hydrated at all times, says her personal trainer Ashley Conrad: “Have a cup of hot water with lemon when you get up, and then drink a total of three chopped-up lemons with water a day to flush out water retention.”

Cut back on caffeine Caffeine could make your body think it is “under attack, and it goes into fat-storage mode,” says Ashley. Never drink latte, she says, because of the extra sugar and calories from the milk, but a macchiato or plain coffee is okay once in a while.

Eat small meals all day long Not surprisingly, Ashley recommends eating five times a day. Each meal should include plenty of protein – chicken or fish for lunch – but no dairy. A tip to stay full: “Mid-morning, have a protein shake made with a third of a banana, some cinnamon and a half-cup of frozen spinach, plus a spoonful of raw almond butter.”

Do total body workouts Ashley loves exercises that target many muscle groups at once. Do lateral slides, which tone your legs, thighs and core, and burn calories, all at the same time. “Just like you see basketball players do in training, this move is one of my best secrets,” says Ashley.

Lose the expensive equipment “Old-school exercises like star jumps (a variation of jumping jacks), push-ups and crunches are great because they kick your butt and get results!” says Ashley. “I sometimes go to workout sessions with just kettlebells and a jump rope.” [via]
