How to get a six-pack – – can Nutra-Trim help you get six-pack abs 2x faster?
While a lot has been written about how to get a six-pack, I tend to stick with what works all the time – my local liquor store. Oh, I am sorry. Did you want to know how do get six pack abs?
All joking aside, it seems many people would like to know how to get six-pack abs. But what is the obsession anyway?
I get it; maybe having great abs is sexy. I guess in some way, your six-pack abs somehow convey that you follow a healthy lifestyle.
And, as it often happens with me, if you are out of good pick-up lines – in some cases – inadvertently flashing your rock solid abs, could land you that number, you have been trying to get for the past 3 years – okay – maybe only 3 weeks.
I just realized that after saying all this, I still have not answered your question. Hmm, maybe I should lighten up on those liquor store trips, after all.
Anyhow, whatever the reason behind your quest for six-pack abs, I am sure you already know, that it takes more than just chewing a gum to develop great abs.
Did I say gum? Yep, that is what I said. That is interesting, because according to Diet-Blog, some teenagers seem to think that chewing a gum is equivalent to having a meal.
That is a little disconcerting, but in our case, the question is – Can you get your six-pack abs two times faster if you chew a gum? It seems preposterous to suggest something like this, but Nutra-Trim gum does not seem to think so.
According to the company, Nutra-Trim is a weight management gum. It can help you achieve your weight management goals, because it contains Green Tea Extract, L-Carnitine and Chromium Picolinate – – or can it?
Its description states that, “Nutra-Trim contains NO caffeine, ephedra or artificial stimulants“. Really? Because according to FAQs (12), it says Nutra-Trim contains guarana, which company calls “an herbal source of natural energy“.
Ephedra is also an herbal source of natural energy, but that is not the point. Guarana is a stimulant and it does contain caffeine. Green tea also contains caffeine, unless it has been decaffeinated, but Nutra-Trim does not say what kind they use.
In fact, Nutra-Trim does not disclose any information about the amount of each ingredient. Not that it is necessary…You may already know that it takes only 5 seconds to find out what really goes on with the ingredients.
In FAQs (14), there is a full list of ingredients. Since we know that food manufacturers are required to list ingredients in order of amount, it is pretty clear that Nutra-Trim gum contains meaningless amounts of Green Tea Extract, L-Carnitine, Chromium Picolinate and Guarana.
These ingredients are listed at the very end of the list in positions 10, 11 and 12.
For weight loss, Green Tea Extract, L-Carnitine, Chromium Picolinate and Guarana could possibly be effective, if supplemented in a highly concentrated form.
Just L-Carnitine alone calls for a dosage of 2 to 3 grams, or more. To put things into perspective, one teaspoon equals 2.8 grams. It should also be in the tartrate form, which is expensive.
In addition, they state in FQAs (5) that, Nutra-Trim will “definitely” work for anyone on any diet, claiming that “Whether you’re looking to cut down on calories, fat or carbs, Nutra-Trim can help to boost your metabolism and control food cravings…”.
In reality, the studies listed on Nutra-Trim site are completely unrelated to Nutra-Trim gum. There is no scientific evidence that Nutra-Trim gum could help anyone lose weight or help get six-pack abs faster.
