Wendy Williams‘ diet is messy and confusing. What is wrong with Wendy Williams’ diet? While Wendy Williams’ diet has a lot of good things going for it, it is inconsistent. It also contains some disturbing choices such as Twinkies for desert and a calorie-heavy dressing.

The good news about Wendy Williams’ diet is that it sort of utilizes calorie shifting, and it is low in calories. To find out more about her diet, check out the following excerpts from a recent interview with her on this subject.

Do you diet? I count calories. A perfect day is having 1,200. Even with plastic surgery, nothing is foolproof. Everything will come back if you don’t take care of yourself. I’m a foodie, and every day is a struggle. I wake up in the morning and think, Mmm, what am I going to eat today? There are days I just pig out. But the next day I’ll be really good. I’ll start off the day with a cup of yogurt and black coffee, then move on to a mid-morning hard-boiled egg. I adore the 6-inch sandwiches at Subway, which are under 400 calories. At night I come home and have a handful of cherries. Then for dinner I make chicken with lots of onions on top and a very large salad, with probably too much dressing. For dessert I like to have a 100-calorie Twinkie pack. And I go to the gym for an hour three times a week.

Were you nervous about TV adding 10 to 15 pounds? I do think I look heavier. But you know what? I’ve learned that I can’t do anything about that. If I spent time thinking about fat angles, I would never get anything accomplished. I have to admit, when I had Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian on the show, I was distracted looking at my upper arms. Kourtney is so small, even pregnant, and I’m just a big woman – that’s all there is to it. If I’m going to be big, then I have to be the biggest one in the room. That’s why I enjoy wearing 5-inch heels.

Does society have a warped view of weight? We see only big and not big and nothing in between. My brand of big is different. In my head, I’m a supermodel!

How would you describe your body? I’m not a skinny minny, but I don’t obsess about my weight. I don’t get on the scale – getting on the scale makes me very nervous. I check myself based on the clothing and the wardrobe. I’m pretty happy with the size of my clothing right now. I wear a size 6 skirt, sometimes a size 8, and I wear a size 14 blouse, because it has to fit over my boobs. [via]
