Weight Loss Watchers
Why do they call themselves Weight Watchers? Shouldn’t they be called Weight Loss Watchers? I think Weight Loss Watchers makes more sense than Weight Watchers, because it is so much more fun to see the pounds melt away than to watch the weight.
Anyway, Weight Watchers has recently introduced the Lose For Good campaign and it is pretty awesome. Here is what the ad says:
“For every pound of weight lost by Weight Watchers members between 9/7/08 and 10/18/08, we’ll donate the equivalent of a pound of food, up to one million dollars, to people who need it the most.
Make what’s good for you good for someone else. Together we’ll lose. Together we’ll gain. Together we’ll make the world a healthier place, one pound at a time. Come into a meeting today and let the good begin.”
