Originally, I thought it would be a good idea to put together a collection of weight loss tips from men, but I think I have come up with something better. Instead of focusing only on weight loss tips for men, here is something that men and women can use to increase their chances of losing weight successfully.

Get moving and do not stop Be physically active for at least 30 minutes most days of the week.

Keep a food journal Become aware of what you actually eat as a first step toward gaining control of your food choices. Recording everything you eat while you lose weight also helps you stay on track.

Gradually eat more healthfully For the first week, eat three healthful meals. The next week beef it up to five, and keep improving your meals until it’s
the norm.

Make the changes permanent Losing weight and keeping it off is a way of life, not a short-term “diet.”

Kick it up a notch with each passing year Both male and female metabolisms slow down with age. While a man’s ability to burn calories will always be greater than a woman’s, both genders must deal with a slowdown over the years.
