Weight Loss Reduces Cancer Risk
Would you be a little more motivated to lose extra weight, if you knew that weight loss may increase your chances of not developing an aggressive form of cancer?
Earlier studies have found that obesity increases the risk of heart disease, diabetes, and various forms of cancer.
A new study determined that men who managed to lose more than 11 pounds over a decade, “were 42 percent less likely to develop” an aggressive form of prostate cancer than those who remained overweight over the same time period.
The message is clear: Staying fit and healthy goes beyond debatable standards of modern esthetics.
If you are overweight, you can lose weight without complicated diets (see Healthy Diet Tips) and long hours at the gym (see Exercise To Lose Weight).
