Vanessa Williams Diet

Vanessa Williams‘ diet is predictably good. But I do not want to like Vanessa Williams’ diet. What’s wrong with Vanessa Williams’ diet? Would I be happier had she been on the celery diet or the cactus diet? No, of course not. I would be disappointed. So what is my beef with Vanessa Williams’ diet? One word: Freshology.
Do not get me wrong, Freshology is great, and a lot of celebrities use it to stay fit. It really has become the celebrity diet of choice for many stars in Hollywood, but the question is: Does Williams know how to eat on her own? Can she maintain her weight without this expensive food delivery program? I do not know, for now she seems to rely on Freshology’s 1,200 to 1,400 calories Get-Slim plan to maintain her weight and stay fit.
She deserves a credit, however, for not being obsessed with her weight. Vanessa claims that she does not check her scale weight. How does she know whether or not she is gaining weight? She uses a mirror to assess her weight. If she looks good in the mirror, she is doing fine.
Here is a sample of Vanessa Williams’ diet:
Breakfast Fresh signature granola with Fage yogurt and fresh seasonal fruit.
Lunch Fish (broiled or backed) with steamed (or cooked in some other way) veggie medley.
Dinner Protein (usually a steak) and steamed vegetables such as asparagus, for example.
Dessert Dark chocolate brownie.
As you can see Vanessa Williams’ diet is balanced and easy to follow, but one would need to spend a lot time in a kitchen to replicate it, which makes this diet not very helpful for those who do not have enough money to pay for it. That said, the core of this diet – i.e., the combination of complex carbohydrates and protein – is something that can be implemented by just about anybody using regular foods that you buy at your local market.
