Tracey Gold Anorexic
Having suffered from anorexia as a teen while on the hit show Growing Pains, Tracey Gold, 39, knows all too well about the pressure to stay thin in Hollywood. “It’s ridiculous,” she says. “It definitely lends itself to eating disorders and all of that sort of stuff.”
Tracey’s weight plummeted when fat jokes aimed at her character were written into the Growing Pains script. “It became an addiction,” she says. “I couldn’t stop losing weight.” [source: In Touch]
