Breakfast For an energizing start, scramble six egg whites with 3 tsp. low-fat cream cheese and 3 cups of fruit salad.
In a rush, try instant oatmeal with slivered almonds, strawberries and cinnamon or even a McDonald’s Egg McMuffin (It has only 300 calories and 12 grams of fat.)
Snack Get a midmorning pick-me-up by mixing 1 cup of low-fat cottage cheese (a pretty good source of quality protein) with 1 cup of unsweetened applesauce. Have more time to spare? Remove the yolk of two hard-boiled eggs and fill remaining egg whites with a bit of hummus. To be continued…
