The Biggest Loser Season 4Put down that doughnut! The Biggest Loser season 4 is almost here. The Biggest Loser begins its fourth season with a two-hour premiere, and here is a sneak peek at the new contestants!

Their struggles to slim down are sure to launch a million diets and exercise plans – and tug at countless heartstrings!

“They have such amazing stories,” says the new host, Days of Our Lives star Alison Sweeney. “You better have a box of Kleenex when you watch the season premiere – you’re going to need it!” Here are some standouts.

A Hurricane Katrina survivor who recently moved back to the Big Easy, Lezlye Donahue, 34, is a single mom and a pharmaceutical industry worker. Best of all, she wants to unleash her inner sex kitten!

Medical salesman Bill Germanakos and his brother, police officer Jim, are both 40 and living in Long Island, N.Y., and are the first set of twins to ever appear on the show. They no longer want to be known as “the fat twins”!

The show’s oldest contestant ever is 62-year-old Peoria, Ill.-based Jerry Lisenby. He’s an ex-Golden Gloves boxing champ and worked for the Peace Corps in Paraguay. Now he’s ready to get back into fighting shape!

Patty Gonzalez, 34, is a mother of three from San Diego who must lose weight or else lose her liver! She was recently diagnosed with NASH, a type of liver disease not related to alcoholism.

Paramedic Amber Walker, 30, is the one to call during an emergency, but her weight is putting her own life and job at risk. What’s more, this Houston-based big girl feels her too-full figure is a big problem on the dating scene – and she’s ready to lasso herself a man ASAP. [via]
