Taylor Momsen Skinny or Anorexic?

Is Taylor Momsen skinny? Is Taylor Momsen anorexic? No, Momsen is not anorexic, but she is skinny, too skinny, perhaps. In 2007, Momsen was 122 pounds. Now? Her weight is estimated to be around 108 pounds.
Taylor recently filmed a scene in a bra, says a source. And the stress has sent Momsen plunging from a size two to a size zero, which was evident when she wore a strapless gown on the opening night of NYC’s Metropolitan Opera that exposed her bony shoulders.
“Taylor’s been doing liquid fasting cleanses for a few weeks,” reveals the source. “The problem is that she’s done several back to back.” “She’s entirely too thin. Her shoulder bones are way too pronounced, and her clavicle bones are sticking out. [source: Star]

bad angle! She’s slouching her shoulders forward. You try doing that, your collar bones will protrude as well, no matter your size.

her arms look EXACTLY the same, i doubt she’s lost any weight whatsoever. And at her height (5′8) and 122lb, you’d actually fit a 0 in most cases.

I love how it’s ok to comment on how ‘too skinny’ someone is, but it’s politically incorrect to comment on how ‘too fat’ someone is.

She doesn’t look happy like she used to be. You could tell the difference in the pictures. People need to stop anaylizing celebreties weights. Their human like the rest of us except we aren’t in the public eye.

I think taylor momsen is entirely beautiful and tons of girls would love to be as skinny as her. She is lucky to be so skinny.

I was under 100 lbs and 5′8 as a teenager. I had an eating disorder for 16 years. I think because seeing super thin celebrities is so common these days people are in denial about how thin she (and other celebrities) really are because this degree of thinness has become normalised, saying it’s okay and healthy just perpetuates the problem of the societal war against women’s bodies. It becomes an excuse. People don’t realise the physical consequences of being so underweight whether you have an eating disorder or not. I am 25 and as a result of abusing my body for many years I now have arthritis, my immune system is shit and I have recurring respiratory and kidney infections. One of the major ‘medical complications’ of being drastically underweight is sudden cardiac arrest and death. But I’m still thin, right? That’s all that matters? Unfortunately sarcasm doesn’t translate very well through text. I have friends who suffered with anorexia and since recovered they’ve had to have numerous surgeries to repair the damage they did to their bodies. Extreme thinness is glamorised these days and you see the same corpses in denial, on the runway and in eating disorder units on drip feeds. I think society needs a reality check because as I see it people are very distorted about weight issues. Of course size-ism (extreme weight prejudice) is economically driven and a way women are kept in their place in spite of the progress they have made in the last half century.

She looks VERY skinny, maybe she’s on her way to a serious eating disorder. You know? maybe she isn’t anorexic BUT due to her fame in Gossip Girl, hundreds of teenagers want to be like her utterly skinny. I don’t even know who to blame. The producers? The media? The public? Taylor herself? We live in a society that says “if you are not skinny, you are ugly, nobody likes you, pig, you’ll be made of.” There are other celebrities such as Miley Cyrus, she’s perfectly okay, she’s thin and healthy, we can’t see her bones as much as we can see Taylor’s.
