Spasmodic Dysphonia Don’t be surprised if Dilbert creator, Scott Adams, begins rhyming or singing while having a conversation with you.

Adams suffers from spasmodic dysphonia, which is a voice disorder that causes the vocal cords to close and open involuntarily.

Strangely enough, the condition is not present when a person whispers, sings, rhymes or talks in a high pitch.
