On my recent long flight to New York, I was falling asleep while flipping through Sky Mall catalog. I thought I was having a dream, when on one page, I have read the words “magnetic slimming belt”.

Magnetic slimming belt? What is that?

Unfortunately, I was not dreaming. I was indeed reading that Cera-Heat Magnetic Slimming Belt can spot-reduce abdominal fat.

I thought, “Okay, I must have read this wrong, maybe I am just sleepy”, so I kept reading. Now, if you think that spot-reduction claim was bad, and they at least mentioned something about a diet and exercise, you are mistaken.

The description also states that you can lose weight by doing absolutely nothing. I am not pulling your leg! It actually says, “Lose inches around the waist and look thinner while you’re sitting at your desk or around the house“.

At this point, I am thinking, “Is this for real? Are there really people who still believe in these claims?” I guess so. This is a major catalog. If these kinds of products do not sell, why would they put them in the catalog?

But wait, they are not leaving us handing without any explanations. After all, who does not want to know how this slimming belt works?

According to the description - the magnets in this “slimming” belt raise your body temperature - causing abdominal fat to melt away.

The irony of Cera-Heat Magnetic Slimming Belt is the fact that you can lose weight and look slim while sitting at your desk. Diet-Blog has recently posted about a unique product, which does a much better job than any slimming belt.
