Sean Hetherington’s weight loss is monumental. He did not lose 20 or 30 pounds, and he did not even lose 50 pounds, how much weight did he lose? Sean Hetherington lost 100 pounds! Anyway you look at it, it is an enormous achievement.
Okay, yes, Hetherington didn’t win on NBC’s American Gladiators on June 30, but he has plenty to celebrate. Not only was Sean the show’s first openly gay contestant, his appearance was the culmination of a 13-month diet and fitness overhaul that left the stand-up comic 100 pounds lighter.
