What do you do to stay fit? Yoga, Pilates, run with my dog and hike. I run my dog every day if I can. I do yoga and Pilates in my trailer when I’m working.

As an actress, do you feel pressure to look a certain way? I’ve always been health-conscious. A big part of taking care of myself in this business is making sure that I feel good no matter what I look like.

Do you follow a special diet? I eat mainly organic, raw food for environmental reasons, and it just feels better energetically to eat like that. You actually “get high” off your food if it’s good raw food.

I’m not necessarily a vegetarian, but I don’t eat a lot of meat. I eat fish, but I haven’t eaten red meat or chicken in years.

Your skin is flawless. What’s your secret? La Mer. I was just using Cetaphil because I’ve got really sensitive skin. I’ve noticed a difference since adding La Mer. But it is really expensive!

Do you sample the Hollywood club scene? I feel like I did that and it doesn’t interest me anymore. I went away to college and was in Europe for a year and I was very free. Now I’m here to work. I’m not interested in going nuts at the clubs. I go nuts at yoga!

How do you maintain that balance and perspective? I make sure that I don’t forget to spend a lot of time with my friends and laugh at myself as much as possible. Hollywood can feel consuming.

What’s your everyday style? Very relaxed. Everything looks like I’ve owned it and loved it for 10 years. I wear my cowboy boots pretty much every day. [via]
