Rumer Willis‘ diet is rice-less. Okay, maybe Rumer Willis’ diet does contain some rice, but it restricts carbohydrates, which means that Rumer Willis’ diet is a low-carb diet, allegedly. Why would she need to avoid carbohydrates? She is not overweight and looks pretty good. Strange! But here is the story:

Recently, Rumer Willis was spotted picking all the rice off her sushi rolls during The Bash to benefit Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. “She pulled out the fish and let the rice pile up on her plate,” says a source.

When a friend saw her fiddling with her food, “they asked her if she was allergic to shellfish. But Rumer said, ‘No, I’m allergic to carbs!’”

So, is this a common affliction in La-La Land or just the way Rumer Willis’ diet is? A lot of celebrities seem to be afraid of carbs, which is unfounded. If your overall diet habits are healthy, there is no reason to avoid rice or other natural foods that contain carbohydrates. That said, simple carbs that are found in soda, white bread, fast food, etc should be avoided. [via]
