Who is Roland Kickinger? He is an Austrian bodybuilding hunk who plays a murderous cyborg in the upcoming Terminator Salvation. No, it is not Arnold Schwarzenegger. We are talking about buff star Roland Kickinger. He starred in the Baywatch spoof Son of the Beach, played Arnold in the biopic See Arnold Run and even went green as the Hulk in Disaster Movie.

Now he is getting ready to make his biggest splash yet, in next summer’s Terminator Salvation, taking over Arnold’s role as the coldblooded killing machine, the T-800. To get in Terminator shape at age 40, Roland used a new fat-burning supplement from Xenadrine; he liked it so much that he became a company spokesperson.

When did you decide to become an actor? I was a hotel manager in Vienna and had a dream to move to L.A. and make it in the movie business. So when I was 27, I just packed up and moved out there. I left a lot behind, but I was living on the beach and following my dream. By that I mean I was living in my car on the beach! But I immediately started taking English and acting classes and continued to compete in bodybuilding to pay the bills.

Were you hesitant about reprising Arnold’s role in Terminator? Arnold left this action star legacy behind that still has not been filled since he stopped acting. So I figured he is a mentor of mine, and action is always better with an Austrian accent, so why not? But we do have a personal relationship, and I made sure it was OK with him first, which it was.

What can you tell us about Terminator? Everything is very secret. But working with Christian Bale, who stars, and director McG was an amazing experience.
