Resveratrol Dosage
This is a reference to a webpage.
I the “Right Dose” part, you say:
“Even a leading resveratrol researcher, Dr. David Sinclair at Harvard Medical School, is noted as taking a lower dose: 5 mg per kilogram — about 150 mg per day for the average adult”.
Is the weight of an average adult 30 kilogram? (i’s 70 kg for male and 55 kg for female, on the conservative side).
Please note I don’t bring it up to catch you. I am just looking for a correct dose of resveratrol.
I hope you will answer.
Thank you. [via Ask Questions]
Please keep in mind that while resveratrol seems to show a lot of promise, it is still a very new supplement and a lot more studies are needed to understand its safety and usefulness.
Resveratrol dosage Having said that, currently most experts seem to agree that an effective resveratrol dosage for an average adult is anywhere from 150 to 300 mg of pure resveratrol.
Some resveratrol supplements list the total amount of resveratrol, which can be 500 mg or more, but an actual amount of pure resveratrol could be a lot lower, maybe only 50 mg. Make sure you read the label carefully so that you are getting at least 150 mg of pure resveratrol.
