Mixin’ it up Jeanette Jenkins, her longtime personal trainer, rotates between circuit-training, cardio, yoga and Pilates during their thrice-weekly hourlong sessions. “You can never do the same things with her because she will get bored and never come back,” says Jenkins.

Cardio Queen Latifah loves outdoor workouts, so she will usually power-walk to get her heart pumping. But for gym days, Jenkins designed a treadmill routine of two-minute jogging and walking intervals at a 0 to 10 percent incline.

Total toning On strength-training days, Latifah does 30-minute circuits of upper- and lower-body moves (pushups, squats, back rows and leg lifts) using 5- or 8-pound weights. To finish: five minutes of Pilates-inspired ab work. [via]
