Pure Vegetarian

Pure Vegetarian

Me, pure vegetarian? Rrright, that is going to happen. I do not mean to be supercilious, but I am not hiding the fact that I am an unapologetic omnivore. In fact, I think that vegetarians are an odd bunch of people that for some, yet to be explained reason, enjoy what can be described as masochistic nutritionism of sorts. Wait, it is not true, vegans do that.

I am kidding, I am kidding! I love vegans and vegetarians, as long as they do not belie the basic facts of nutrition, which they often rarely do.

So why am I talking about Pure Vegetarian? Because even if you a bellicose omnivore, the tasty recipes and stunning pictures in Pure Vegetarian are enough to entice you to include more veggies in your diet.

Pure Vegetarian offers more than 150 vegan and vegetarian recipes that range from delightful pre-dinner finger foods to tasty desserts. For example, recipes like Tuscan Tomato Bread Pudding, Walnut Risotto with Brown Butter and Taleggio Crostini, and Lavender Yogurt Cheesecake are hard to ignore even for someone like me.

The straight dope on Pure Vegetarian is simply this: This cookbook is a must-have for any vegetarian cook or anyone who wants to enhance his or her diet with healthy vegetables and fruits. [via Taste for Life]
