Posture Exercise: Look Slimmer

Your posture might say a lot about your personality. According to Men’s Health, “If it is signpost straight, you will communicate confidence and strength while appearing slimmer and taller. Long-term, it could help you avoid arthritis – hunching over can slowly wear down joint tissue.”
Try this posture exercise for 2 week, says Janice Novak, author of Posture, Get It Straight! Sit and wrap one end of a string around one of your shirt buttons, at heart level; attaché the other end to your belt buckle so that the string is taut when you sit up straight.
Keep it that way for 5 to 10 minutes twice a day as you work; if you slack off, reset the clock and start over. [source: Men's Health]
