After spending two weeks in Warsaw (not a ton of time), I think Polish girls have it right. But I don't know if it's because of the reasons the author of this article sets out. I was looking around me at a breakfast buffet, where I had a large dinner plate filled with all sorts of interesting things, including fruits and veggies, wondering why I was a "big" girl that at a US size 6. I looked over at the 90 lb. girl next to me... guess what she was eating for breakfast? Tea.

I've been to Paris before... Aside from your tips on no-diet, diet, here are a few more:

1. Less preservatives or processed food
2. Public transportation in Europe makes it convenient to get your daily exercise whereas we drive everywhere!
3. Small portions is definitely key... Many Europeans I know are horrified by the "American" portions served.

Good article!

Yes, this was even better than polish jokes. I'm from Poland and I must admit, that reading this article was fun. I assume that author has never been to Poland and doesn't know anyone from this country.
Unfortunatelly, we in Poland actually do eat lots of chips and do drink lots of soda. As in any other country. And that fairy-tale about raw cabbage being main part of our diet, is only a fairy-tale.

could someone tell me what the name of the woman in the first picture is? I'm not sure all polish girls do it right, but it doesn't look like she can do anything wrong!
