Organic Weight Loss

Organic Weight LossSome people think that eating organic means they will lose weight, but that is not what it is all about Cheryl Roth, co-founder of Organic Works Marketing, says, “Organic means without chemicals, hormones or synthetic pesticides. Food is also free of genetically modified organisms (GMOs).”

Cheryl explains some things to consider if you want to go organic.

Always buy dairy and meat organically produced. If not, you are ingesting very high levels of antibiotics and hormones that can potentially lead to illnesses.

Fruits and vegetables without a thick skin are more prone to be harmed by conventional farming, so try to buy strawberries, apples and peaches organic.

Nuts and certain produce with thick shells or skins are more apt to keep out the toxins, so regular avocados, bananas, grapefruits and chestnuts are okay to buy if you are trying to save cash. [source: OK!]
