No Dairy or Eggs Diet Plan

Can you recommend a diet plan that doesn’t have DAIRY or EGGS?? I’m finding it difficult – most diet plans have eggs and dairy – So. Beach, Sonomo, Best Life – and I do best on a lower-carb – but I do eat high fiber whole grains, breads, cereals, & pasta. I’m familiar with the exchange diet since I have a family of diabetics and I’m trying to at least post pone it – I’m so proud of Ricki Lake – she’s a real role model for me.

I think the focal point of the diets you have mentioned is on eating a balanced diet, which basically consists of quality protein, complex carbs, and healthy fats. Dairy is not an essential element of a healthy diet and some would argue that consumption of dairy – with an exception of cultured products – is unhealthy.

As for eggs, they provide a pretty good source of protein, but can be easily replaced with other protein sources. In short, find a diet that you are comfortable with and do not worry about dairy or eggs.

    Hi, I actually love the Six Week Body Makeover plan….it does not include dairy (you’re right that it’s not an essential part of a healthy diet), however egg whites are something you can have for protein, while discarding the yolks (too high in fat). If you don’t like egg whites, you can have another low-fat protein, such as chicken, fish, or turkey breast. It’s important that you eat food that you like, otherwise it would feel like a diet instead of a lifestyle change. 😉

    Basically, you’re just eating whole foods, including carbs, and leaving out the processed food. Your energy soars and the weight drops off.
