Whether you’re having a hard time getting motivated to go to the gym or to lose weight, here is a simple trick to get you back on track.
During your workout, play a game with yourself: Try to crowd out those negative thoughts by replacing them with other ones – like why you’re doing a workout in the first place. So, how do you go from “I can’t lose weight.” to “Losing weight is easy and I can do it!”
The turning point is connected to your deep desire to do it. When you figure out why you want to lose weight, the discipline required to lose weight becomes automatic. You know what they say, “replace to whiner with the winner,” that’s the bottom line, really; focus on you goal and the discipline will come to you.
