Milena Govich: Diet and Workout

Milena Govich: Diet and WorkoutTo look convincing as a detective in NBC’s Law & Order, Milena Govich’s diet and workout have to be dialed in. As a trained dancer, Milena knows that to stay in top shape, it takes a little more than an occasional Paso Doble.

Milena Govich’s diet and workout is a combination of smart food choices and exercises she enjoys – “Working out is something I really enjoy – the key is to do lots of different things, says Milena.”

According to Life & Style, Milena Govich trains six days a week at NYC’s Chelsea Piers athletic complex.

She began studying martial arts, which goes nicely with her usual 45-minute cardio sessions and strength training. When she is too busy to attend a gym, yoga and Pilates come to the rescue – “Yoga and Pilates get my heart up and keep me stretched“, says Milena.

The hour-long/twice-a-week Tai Chi classes has taught her to get the body in the right stance and the core in the right place, but her favorite form of fitness is working out with her hubby David Cornue.

He goes to the gym with me, and he really tries to support me in staying healthy [...] He never says, “Hey, why don’t you have a piece of pizza?”

Milena Govich’s diet looks like this:

Breakfast: a bowl of hot oatmeal with protein powder
Lunch: a big salad with some eggs and chicken
Snacks: sliced raw veggies and almonds
Dinner: salmon with leafy greens
