Why would Michael Phelps want to appear on Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes cereal boxes? According to media reports, Phelps will also be on Kellogg’s Corn Flakes boxes. What kind of a message is that going to send?

Close. The formula is:
1) Eat sugar and fat in huge quantities
2) Work out like a lunatic, every day, all day, for years and years
3) Win gold medals.
Seriously, his diet may not be viable for long-term health, but it is clearly a practicable strategy for short-term needs. He literally cannot get the calories he needs in as short a sitting as his schedule allows from raw vegetables.
