Michael Phelps Diet

Michael Phelps’ diet is insane, for a regular person that is. Phelps, of course, is not just a regular guy who swims in a swimming pool once in a while. It has been reported that Michael Phelps’ diet contains 12,000 calories.
That’s right; Phelps eats 12,000 calories a day! He is an Olympic swimmer after all, so it is hardly surprising that he needs that many calories. Michael Phelps’ diet is high in carbs (the complex ones) and pretty loaded with protein and healthy fats.
Unlike other athletes who need that many calories, Michael does not eat junk calories that are often found in the majority of popular shakes, and it shows. Look at his body; he is totally ripped and has great muscle definition.
