McDonald’s nutrition now provides building blocks of a healthy diet? McDonald’s nutrition? Is this a joke? Here is what the latest ad says about McDonald’s nutrition:
“McDonald’s brings you healthy living tips from Dean Ornish, M.D., one of the leading health experts. Dr. Dean Ornish is a McDonald’s advisor on balanced active lifestyles, quality, and food functionality initiatives.”
McDonald’s nutrition Mandarin oranges (excellent source of vitamin C and promotes liver and heart health). Edamame (soy protein isoflavones found in edamame help to promote healthy cholesterol levels).
Red peppers (packed with vitamin C and beta carotene to support your immune system). Almonds (good source of magnesium and vitamin E). Show peas (8 vitamins, 7 minerals, dietary fiber, and protein to support a healthy heart).
So where do we find the above ingredients in McDonald’s nutrition? In a salad. But who eats a salad at McDonald’s?
