Lose 20 Pounds in 20 Days

Hello, I need to lose 20 pounds in 20 days for my wedding. My friend told me that I can lose 20 pounds in 20 days by eating apples and cottage cheese? I hate cottage cheese but is it true? Is it possible to lose 20 pounds in 20 days by eating something other than this because I don’t really eat apples either? Please help me I’m desperate to lose 20 pounds for my wedding, I can’t fit into my dress now. Thanks. Megan J.

To lose 20 pounds in 20 days, you need to lose 1 pound a day for 20 consecutive days. Most people can only lose about 2 pounds a week. I understand that you really need to lose weight quickly, but in my opinion it is impossible to lose 20 pounds in 20 days.

What else can you do? I think in your situation the best thing to do is to stop eating anything that contains simple sugar. Do not drink any soda (drink regular water and unsweetened tea), and do not eat any fast food. Slightly increase your protein intake and try to eat simple meals.

If you can just eat greens, steamed vegetables, healthy oils and protein for 20 days, well, you still not going to lose 20 pounds in 20 days, but you will probably lose more weight than most people can lose in the same time period on a typical diet.
