Is it possible to lose 10 kilograms in a week? If my math is correct, to lose 10 kilograms in a week you need to lose 22 pounds in a week. To put things into perspective, some folks cannot even lose 20 pounds in 1 month, and here we are talking about losing 20 pounds in a week. You cannot lose 10 kilograms in a week – it is too much weight and not enough time.

But just because you cannot lose the amount of weight you want to lose in a week, does not mean that you cannot lose any weight at all. You can lose some weight in 7 days, it is just not going to be 10 kilograms. Even if you could lose 10 kilograms in a week, it is always better to focus on eating healthy and staying active than on the amount of weight you want to lose.

Why? Because if you learn how to eat healthy, you can lose pretty much any amount of weight you want to lose. Focusing on a specific number is counterproductive, and trying to lose weight in a record time often leads to yo-yo dieting. But do not jump from one extreme to another – in other words, just because I am saying that you need to focus on what you eat and staying active does not mean that you need to start exercising like crazy and obsessing about your every meal. You do not need to do that – just focus on following a balanced diet and try to exercise for about 30 minutes three times a week.
