Lisa Rinna: Diet and Workout
What does it take to rock the Oscar red carpet? For Lisa Rinna, it is a bit of Botox, a ton of cardio – and absolutely no chips and guacamole. Oh, and Dexatrim Natural Green Tea Formula, which claims to curb hunger, but like many other weight loss pills, it does not really work.
Lisa Rinna’s workout (3 weeks until the Oscars) Running with light weights helps the 5’7” Rinna “lean out the muscles,” she says – as do cardio ballroom dance classes four times a week with Louis van Amstel, her ex-Dancing with the Stars partner.
Lisa Rinna’s diet (2 weeks until the Oscars) Rinna cuts back on eating “anything white,” including her beloved chips and guacamole, sticking to “any kind of soup” for lunch and chicken and veggies for dinner.
She also limits alcohol to one drink a week, and doesn’t eat after 7:30 p.m., and claims that cups of yerba mate tea suppress her appetite. “It’s been hard,” admits Rinna.
Lisa Rinna’s the day of the Oscars diet “You literally have to starve yourself on that day if you wear a form fitting gown,” says Rinna, who eats just enough “to keep going.” Actually, you do not have to starve yourself; you just need to follow healthy eating habits, instead of yo-yo dieting.
Breakfast “I get up around 7:30, play outside with the girls, jump on the trampoline and have a banana and Red Bull,” says Rinna. “Then I meet my hair and makeup peeps. We have three hours to get ready.”
Lunch Rinna eats half an omelet, bacon and some cottage cheese – and stops all liquids at 11:00 “so I don’t have to go to the bathroom for the three hours I’m on the carpet!” [source: People]
