Laci Le Beau Super Dieter’s Tea for Weight Loss?
Remember Bonkers Super Skinny Tea which claims to help you lose weight? Well, there is a new weight-loss tea in town, which claims to help you fit into your favorite jeans this summer.
The ad says that “when you combine Laci Le Beau Super Dieter’s Tea with a healthy, reduced-calorie diet and fitness plan, you could be wearing your favorite jeans in no time – you know, the jeans that have been tucked away in your closet since last year.
Unlike other weight loss teas, Laci Le Beau Super Dieter’s Tea does not contain any stimulants like caffeine. Which brings me to an obvious question: “How does it support weight loss?”
Ah, that is where we get to the good part. This tea contains Senna (a.k.a. Cassia angustifolia), which is a stimulant laxative often prescribed to relieve constipation. Right, so we are back to the days of laxative-induced weight loss.
Of course, this is nothing new and FDA advises consumers to be very careful with such products. They do not support weight loss and can cause a host of rather unpleasant side effects, such as vomiting, nausea, and even death.
