Lacey Schwimmer Diet

Lacey Schwimmer’s diet is not low in carbs. And you know what? Lacey Schwimmer’s diet does not have to be low in carbs. How is Lacey Schwimmer’s diet different from other diets?
One could argue that Lacey Schwimmer’s diet almost has to be high in carbohydrates simply because she is a dancer; which means her body can burn off calories and carbs much faster than, say, my or your body, unless, of course, we engage in a similarly demanding cardio activities.
That said, Lacey Schwimmer’s diet is not very balanced. It needs to be higher in protein, and it should utilize a wider variety of food groups, which would make her diet more nutritious and healthy. Here is a sample of her menu:
Breakfast (about 235 calories) “Honestly, I am a huge fruit person,” says Lacey. So it is not surprising that her breakfast usually consists of yogurt with fruit.
Lunch (about 340 calories) Lacey says she likes to have a tostada or a salad for lunch, because it helps keep her energy level up midday.
Dinner (about 450 calories) “I am a huge pasta freak,” says Lacey. I much better option would have been some protein with low-carb pasta.
Snack (about 390 calories) “I eat cuties all the time,” says Lacey of the clementine-and-mandarin-orange hybrid. “That’s usually my snack for the day – and I love chocolate,” she says.
