Kirstie Alley Stops Dieting

After dropping 75 pounds and daring to appear on Oprah in a bikini last November, Kirstie Alley says she’s finished dieting!
“I’m done with it and I feel good,” she revealed to In Touch. “I’m on maintenance and I think I’m where I want to be.”
Kirstie, 56, weighed 220 pounds when she started on the Jenny Craig plan in January 2005, and since successfully reaching her goal weight four months ago, she’s relaxed her diet.
Now that she’s happy with her weight, Kirstie’s new goal is to get fitter! “I am really bad at working out and I am working on that,” she revealed.
Can Kirstie Alley beat the odds and keep the weight off? Studies show that 95 percent of dieters regain the weight in five years or less. Fortunately for Kirstie, the Jenny Craig program helps clients with maintenance as well.
Once you reach your goal weight, the program weans you off its prepared meals and teaches you to make your own healthy menus.
“The crux of our program isn’t about dieting,” explains Kirstie’s Jenny Craig consultant Tania Azar, “but about changing your lifestyle in order to manage your weight.”
