At a NASCAR event, she looked heavier, and friends tell Star that Kelly Clarkson’s weight gain is the result of a fast-food-laden diet.
“And forget about exercise — she hates working out. Kelly wants to get down to 125 pounds before her tour starts, but that’s not going to happen when she’s eating croissants for breakfast, burgers for lunch and fried chicken for dinner!
“I’ve never seen Kelly as down as she is now. She was ecstatic last summer when she was 125 pounds, but she did that by practically starving herself. [...],” says a source close to Clarkson.
Having previously tried to convince Kelly to hire a personal trainer, friends now hope that her summer tour and new album, which is set to be released on July 24, will help her sagging self-confidence.
