Katie Lee Joel Diet

Katie Lee Joel Diet

Katie Lee Joel’s diet vs. Bethenny Frankel’s diet, it is a war. Okay, Katie Lee Joel’s diet is not really competing against any other diets, but Katie is a chef and food writer (Bethenny is also a chef), so it is interesting to see if there is a difference between the two diets.

Katie Lee Joel’s diet is not light on comfort food. She loves macaroni and cheese and fried chicken. That said, Katie claims that her diet has a lot of variety, and she knows that she has to eat her favorite foods in moderation. So, let’s take a look at Katie Lee Joel’s diet.

Breakfast (about 400 calories) Granola with yogurt and fruit is what she eats for breakfast. It is a homemade granola that she makes herself. Granola is not the best breakfast choice, but at least she can control the ingredients.

Lunch (about 95 calories) Her lunch is too low in calories. Why? Because there are not many calories in tofu and cabbage, which is what she recently had for lunch.

Dinner (about 1,055 calories) “I recently made some big steaks. I made baked macaroni and cheese, baked beans, corn bread and spinach-artichoke dip,” says Katie. I love big steaks, unfortunately, the rest is a nutritional disaster.

Snack (about 300 calories for two servings) Considering her other food choices, this is a bit hard to believe, but Lee Joel claims that she snacks on fruits and vegetables.

As for exercise, she says the following: “I have to exercise a lot to be able to eat so much. I do a couple of hours of yoga, I spin a lot, I go running – I am pretty active.”

The bottom line on Katie Lee Joel’s diet Overall, her diet gets a C. Her diet would have been acceptable, just barely, for someone who does not know anything about food or cooking, but Katie is a chef, surely she can do better than macaroni and cheese and baked beans. [via]
