Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise: Diet
Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise are about to get married. How did she get in shape so quickly after giving birth? And what about Tom Cruise, what did he do to help her lose weight?
Mr. Top Gun “has signed her up to a company called Buff Brides, in preparation for their wedding. Buff Brides? Oh, I get it, maybe in Scientology circles the beautiful brides are out and the buff brides are in.
Wait, is Tom Cruise plotting to send unsuspecting Katie Holmes to Ms. Olympia for her honeymoon? Cheesy jokes aside, Buff Brides seems to be a good program, but according to Star, Katie Holmes dropped 10 to 15 pounds right after giving birth.
Then, she took a smart route to losing the rest. “The 5′9″ future Mrs. Tom Cruise went for long walks and hired L.A. trainer Kimberly Riegel to help her exercise safely. Katie reportedly focused on running on the treadmill, light weights and lots of ab work, including a reported 200 sit-ups a day.
She’s also been sticking to a healthy low-fat, high-protein diet that includes fish, meat and just fruit for dessert!”
Tom Cruise, however, does not seem to care about low-fat diets. At Mastro’s Steakhouse in Beverly Hills, he reportedly paid $10,000 for a private dinner with Katie Holmes. While she allegedly barely touched her food [grilled sea bass], he went to town on calories, fat, and desert.
[...]Cruise chowed down on a whopping porterhouse steak, a Caesar salad and three side dishes: wasabi mashed potatoes, French fries and onion rings — and he topped it all off with a dessert of cheesecake and chocolate-covered strawberries.
If he keeps this up, Holmes may need to sign him up for obese a differently-weighted groom fitness program to get him in shape for the wedding. Nah, Mr. Top Gun knows better than that. Besides, it is hard to control yourself at Maestro’s; the food there is just out of this world.
