Kate Bosworth is ‘Officially’ Skinny, not Anorexic
It is official: Kate Bosworth is skinny. Gee, you think? Reportedly, she started losing a noticeable amount of weight several years ago while paying a drug addict in Wonderland.
She thought the road to being an A-list star is to be “stick-thin” skinny – - there are a few exceptions, but these days, it is, unfortunately, a prevailing thought in Hollywood. Her troubled relationship with Orlando Bloom was not making things any easier.
She was constantly under stress and had no appetite – instead of eating a salad, she would just pick at it. Still, Kate Bosworth did not think she was anorexic, nor had a problem with her increasingly shrinking frame.
But in Tinseltown, “a picture is worth a thousand words”, which could mean different things for different people. In Bosworth’s case, until she actually saw this picture, she was apparently unaware of just how much weight she lost.
According to the same source, “Kate doesn’t want to fuel an unrealistic ideal for girls who see those pictures of her. [...] That really worried her and made her want to change.”
Now she is hoping to gain 5 to 10 pounds – - which in her case should mean simply eating more food. Her actual plan to accomplish this seems a bit different.
Instead of seeking a professional help, she was allegedly asking her friends about “protein shakes, vitamin supplements and getting a physical trainer“.
Update: Due to a fair amount of emails I have been receiving lately asking to recommend a good diet – if you do not know what diet to follow – for a permanent and healthy weight loss – I would recommend Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle program.
It is not a fad diet, but it is a complete program, which is easy to understand. It does not force you into a specific diet – rather, it is designed to give you nutrition and exercise knowledge, which you can use at your own pace to lose fat and/or build muscle. [source: Star]
