Karina Smirnoff: Nose Job and Plastic Surgery
After fracturing her nose twice in the past six years – the first time, she walked into a glass door; the second, she caught her nose on her dance partner’s elbow during a competition – Karina Smirnoff was left with “a bump that looked like another nose!” she jokes.
Plus, “the significant other” – a.k.a. Mario Lopez – “had been complaining I was snoring.”
So when she and boxer Floyd Mayweather were eliminated during the fourth week of this season’s Dancing with the Stars, Smirnoff wasn’t all that disappointed.
Karina Smirnoff’s nose job and plastic surgery “It was good timing,” says the Ukrainian-born dancer, who underwent a 90-min. rhinoplasty (a.k.a the noise job) with Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Nicholas Nikolov.
Although she swears, “I didn’t take one pain pill,” during her six-day recovery period, Smirnoff, who will appear on Dancing’s Nov. 27 finale, did admit to, uh, a few bumps before the bandages came off: “I burned three dinners – because I couldn’t smell anything!” [via]
