Kaboom Energy Drink

Kaboom Energy DrinkTalk about a beverage with an appropriate name. Kaboom energy drink contains 105 mg caffeine in one slim, 8-ounce can. I think that’s 25 mg more than the same serving of Red Bull, folks.

Besides providing you with a nice jolt of energy before a workout, Kaboom (available in Orange Buzzzz and Tropicool flavors) would also come in handy should you ever need to stay up late for a big midterm or pilot a small aircraft across the Atlantic.

Ninety-five of Kaboom’s 105 mg of caffeine come from guarana extract; the other 10 hale from green tea extract. The drink also uses real fruit juice, evaporated cane juice as its sweetener and folic acid, which may aid in the absorption of B vitamins.

“Unlike other sodas and energy drinks, our caffeine component is fat-soluble, providing a time release of energy, a roller coaster ride without the crash,” says Kaboom President Richard E. Symington.

Well, a number of energy drinks use green tea and guarana extracts as their source of caffeine. If caffeine is all you are after, you can just use a caffeine pill or a few shots of espresso. But where’s the fun in that, right?

Caution: Don’t mix Kabbom energy drink – or any energy drink for that matter – with vodka. [source]
