You do not need to follow Joey Lawrence’s diet to lose weight. Most people can lose weight by making simple changes to their diet. That having been said, given what we know about Joey Lawrence’s workout and the fact that Joey Lawrence shirtless looks great without, um, a shirt, it seems safe to assume that he knows a thing or two about dieting.

We do not know exactly what he eats, but judging by the way he looks, he probably follows an eating plan similar to the one outlined in The 7 Day Carb Cycle Solution. He probably has never heard of this book, but you do not need to read a book to know the difference between white carbohydrates and why they are bad for you and brown carbohydrates and why they are good for you. Not all carbs are created equal. Shocker, I know, but true. If you want to look and feel good without a shirt, I think it is a good idea to either completely eliminate white carbs from your diet or keep their consumption to a minimum and use brown carbohydrates after your workout.
