Jessica Alba: Diet and Workout

Jessica Alba on diet: She avoids deep-fried foods, fast food, processed food. “I try to eat the healthiest version of something. I’ll buy organic at Whole Foods or Bristol Farms.”

Jessica Alba’s workout: A 45-minute cardio routine four days a week in the gym with trainer Ramona Braganza. She mixes it up on the stationary bike, treadmill and stair machine.

On her iPod: Welcome to Jamrock, Damian “Junior Gong” Marley Hung Up, Madonna I’ve Been Thinking, Handsome Boy Modeling School featuring Cat power Turn It Up, Chamillionare Kryptonite (I’m On It), Big Boi Sittin’ Sidewayz, Paul Wall Grillz, Nelly.

Jessica Alba on keep-it-real-rules: Appreciate your health. “As a child, I had such bad asthma I took steroids, so I would gain 15 lbs. every time I went on steroids with water,” she says.

“That’s really hard on kid, because you don’t understand what’s happening to you, you’re just all of a sudden bigger. I was kind of tall [she’s 5’6"], so that helped.”

Nobody’s perfect. “What girls need to know and what I try to tell them is that everything is airbrushed to make a better picture, even the models who are gorgeous. It’s not real, it’s all pretend.” [source: People]
